Project Details

Αυτοβιογραφικά στοιχεία 

Ο Δημήτριος Ράπτης γεννήθηκε το 1909 στο χωριό Κακοπλεύρι Καλαμπάκας και απεβίωσε το 2001. Παντρεύτηκε τη Βαίτσα Ράπτη από τις Σταγιάδες και έκανε τρία παιδιά.

Το 1940 επιστρατεύτηκε στον Αλαβανικό πόλεμο και μετά την κυριαρχία των Γερμανών συμμετείχε ως μέλος του ΕΑΜ Χασίων στην Αντίσταση κατά του κατακτητή με το ψευδώνυμο καπετάν Τσάκαλος. Στη μάχη της Οξύνειας συμμετείχε στην ομάδα Καφαντάρη. Με τον Ηλία Καφαντάρη συνδέθηκε φιλικά μέχρι τον θάνατο του Καφαντάρη.

Μετά την παράδοση των όπλων εκ μέρους του ΕΑΜ ο Άρης Βελουχιώτης τον επισκέφτηκε στο χωριό του Σταγιάδες προκειμένου να αρχίσουν ένα νέο ένοπλο αγώνα. Όλα αυτά αναφέρονται στα απομνημονεύματά του με τον τίτλο:   “Φωτεινές και μαύρες σελίδες μιας εποχής”  και συγκεκριμένα για τη συνάντηση με τον Άρη στο κεφάλαιο. "Αρης Βελουχιώτης".

Όπως αναφέρει ο ίδιος μετά την παράδοση των όπλων με τη συμφωνία της Βάρκιζας ανγκάστηκε να ενταχθεί στο Δημοκρατικό στρατό για να σώσει τη ζωή του. Παραδόθηκε το 1948 πέρασε από το στρατιδικείο και καταδικάστηκε σε ισόβια φυλάκιση. Μεταφέρθηκε στη Γυάρο και μετά από 5 χρόνια καταδίκης και φρικτών βασανιστηρίων αφέθηκε ελεύθερος. 

Με το ανέβασμα του ΠΑΣΟΚ στην εξουσία έγινε επί πολλά χρόνια Πρόεδρος των αγωνιστών Εθνικής Αντίστασης της περιφέρειας Τρικάλων Θεσσαλίας.
