Project Details

Ο Μιχάλης Κοσβύρας ή Παπα-Κοσβύρας γεννήθηκε το 1917 στην Οξύνεια και είχε μια περιπετειώδη πολύ κακή παιδική ηλικία. Έμεινε ορφανός από Πατέρα από ενός χρονού. Το 1940 ήταν στις πρώτες γραμμές του Αλβανικού Μετώπου. Το 1943 συμμετείχε οικειοθελώς στη μάχη της Μερίτσας. Καταρχήν εντάχθηκε στο ΕΑΜ αλλά γρήγορα διαφώνησε γιατί δήλωσε ότι δεν πιστεύει στον Κομμουνισμό. Το 1960 χειροτονήθηκε Ιερέας. Είναι συγγραφέας του βιβλίου "Από το βουνό στον Άμβωνα" εκδόσεις ... από όπου έχει παρθεί το παρακάτω κείμενο που αναφέρεται στη Μάχη της Μερίτσας.

Πέθανε το 2014 σε ηλικία 97 χρονών
